Making an Appointment

Appointments for doctors, nurses and health care assistants can be booked up to two weeks in advance or on the same day. 

The telephone lines open at 8am for appointment booking.  Calls are held in a queue and answered in strict rotation as quickly as possible.  Appointments become booked very quickly and patients are advised to telephone early to guarantee an appointment.

Home Visits

We can offer the most comprehensive care in our fully equiped Surgery, however, if you are too unwell to attend the surgery please telephone the receptionist who will arrange for the duty doctor to contact you.

Please consider that the time required for one home visit can be equivalent to four or more Surgery consultations. 

All visits are carried out after morning surgery. Due to our large practice area we cannot always guarantee that you will be seen by a particular GP. For routine home visits please before 11am. You can do this by calling 01245 360253 or 01376 341411.

Telephoning the Doctor

If you need to speak to a doctor please contact a receptionist who will advise you when the doctor is likely to be available or arrange for the doctor to call you back. Doctors cannot accept telephone calls from patients while they are consulting unless it is an absolute emergency.

Disabled Access

Our surgeries have suitable access for disabled patients. All the patient areas including the waiting room, the consulting rooms and the toilets, have wheelchair access. If you require one, there is a wheelchair available at reception.

There are designated disabled parking spaces in the car park.
