Repeat Prescriptions

Please allow at least two full working days, excluding Saturday and Sunday, for us to prepare your prescription. There are 5 ways you may request a repeat of your medication. These are as follows:

1. In person at the surgery
2. Telephone (please leave a message on the answer phone) – call 01245 360678 – please ensure you speak clearly leaving your full name and date of birth together with the medication, dose and frequency and remember to state where you would like to collect your prescription from
3. Internet Request – follow the link on this page
4. Post – we can send your prescriptions by post if you attach a stamped self addressed envelope with your prescription

Dispensary

Both our surgeries offer a dispensing service to patients living more than a mile from a chemist. All our dispensers are qualified and are available to help all patients with medication queries.

Regulations do not allow us to dispense to any patient who lives within a mile of a chemist or patients who are living in an urban area. However, exceptions can be made in an emergency or if you have particular difficulty in reaching a chemist, i.e. limited mobility. If you would like to discuss this further please speak to one of our dispensers.
