Community Nurses

We have three district nurses who look after housebound patients. They work closely with the GPs and are based at The Tekhnicon Centre, Braintree. They can be contacted by phone on 01376 567024.

Health Visitors

We have a full complement of people within our health visitor team. They look after families and children from birth to age five. They provide advice and support for families with various concerns from breast feeding to behaviour, health and development. They are also available to provide support for families during difficult times. The health visitors attached to our surgery are permanently based at Great Notley Surgery. They are:

Julie Payne and Yvonne Wildin
Accompanying our health visitors are Julie Hay, a Community Nursery Nurse, and Kathleen MacKay, the Health Visitor Support Worker.

You may contact any of the health visitors at the child clinics or by calling or faxing 01376 320981. If there is no one in the office there will be an answering machine to leave a message.
